Découvert par le producteur Philip Fattis Burrel, Turbulence est un jeune singjay qui a longtemps été perçu comme le successeur possible de Sizzla au sein du label Xterminator. Ce dernier étant loin d’en avoir fini avec le succès, Turbulence a donc dû s’attacher à se distinguer de lui, et il y a beaucoup travaillé. Depuis ses premiers singles dévastateurs, Think of peace et My way to Zion, la notoriété de ce jeune chanteur n’a cessé de grandir, notamment en Europe. Ce qui lui a permis de sortir de nombreux albums, en collaboration avec des labels d’un peu partout, et surtout, de fonder son propre label, Higher Trod, qui semble être aujourd’hui sa principale préoccupation.
