Ethics
This article aims to make you understand this project is done on a human scale. We mean by human, try to limit the impersonal side of the net. ZouBaBa.com is a project, and the website is just a tool. The spirit of the website is on the people’s association interested in promoting ideas, and artists are the main actors.
The website aims to show that within each continent, country or city, the music helps to express the difference between people. It’s also a common understanding, peace and freedom expressions space. We want this music more easily cross borders. Our search engine "Search Sound" allows you to discover your music depending on the talents of every corner of the world. Currently 30 countries are represented, and we thank you. But we don’t give up the fight. Our wish is to represent all countries, all cities, and all styles in the world.
We are daily working within a number of key points in our ethics:
Respect for artists.
A free broadcast artist is our purpose. We offer a world map of international music. And for more than year, teams will cross the world to meet them. All artists are on the website with their agreements.
Respect for the Internet.
This project is primarily cultural. We want to ban advertising of our expression space. The quality’s sound is our priority.
Respect for auditors.
ZouBaBa.com doesn’t want to give the opportunity for artists to create ID cards. Indeed, a selection’s committee is regularly organized in order to create playlist. Selection is on objectives criteria. Musicals performances, regardless of origin or style, will make the difference.
Site Management.
The website’s design is managed by friends, set up by the volunteer, and orchestrated by open source. (Ubuntu, Gedit, Inskape, Open Office!)
Our values: curiosity, dreams and passion of the road.
For artists:
• I accept to be broadcast freely. (No download!)
• I certify these songs are my property.
• ZouBaBa won’t make money with your production without your agreement.
• ZouBaBa accepts to take off line your production whenever you want.
