edit : en fait j'ai lu sur un forum que le tune était jamais sorti et joué rarement en sound. donc j'imagine que ça va être dur à trouver

oui les flics ont mit la pression, et s'ils revenaient c'était fermeture de la salle+ amende ! et vu l'état des pertes j'ai préféré éviter !
et pour les prochaines soirées on sera pa emmerdés paske yen a pu avant un moment ! le temps pour moi de rembourser la dette et de retrouver une salle ou je puisse set up le stack.

Super session ce We, bon OK j’étais pas objectif mais j’ai kiffé toutes les sélections, le Militant de Dixie Peach, l’hommage à Willi Stepper avec un wicked dub cut du King Nebuchadnezzar, Homeward Bound…
Des grosses tunes revival comme il sait bien le faire (Forward Up, African Dub…).
Dommage que le son ait été baissé dès 23H suite à la venue des lardus (merci les nouveaux voisins…), décidément ca devient une habitude ces derniers temps
Au passage, énorme dubplate de Russ & Iration pour le dernier morceau, le seul joué à volume « de soirée »… pfff, une tuerie ce cut, Flo était en transe !!!

Merci encore Mimouille pour l’orga, c’est pas facile car là il y avait suffisamment de monde pour créer une très bonne ambiance (plutôt exceptionnel pour Lyon d’ailleurs) mais encore pas assez pour parvenir à zéro… argh !

its a shame about the restriction on sound level, especially the bass, but better we play to a level and keep things going than to mash things early in the nite, we need to have sense in this scene and work amongst the restrictions the beast try impose on us... as i saw it the people still enjoy themselves and had a vibes, so we cant complain about that... of course such restrictions then make you think differently about your selections, tunes cant rely on thier weight alone, so i went with those that had message, meaning and quality...

as a few mention about the tune `headache`, yes i built this up at iration steppas hi rise studio sometime around `94/`95... and yes its title was due to me having a headache at the time of building it, late nite runnins in the hi rise !!... i cant remember if iration mixed it, or we mixed it together, which was the case sometimes... i must`ve built around 40 tunes up there, none have ever seen the light of day... i always felt `headache` was one of the darkest tunes i`ve ever built, and i`ve not played it much since those days, time is right again tho`...

and lastly, creation stepper, it was sad news to here of his passing.. i met and worked with him from around back end of 80`s and early 90`s, we did a number of tunes together, maybe around 10, including cuts of `nebuchadnezar` and `homeward bound`, and others like `prophesy`, `that little man`, `pressure drop`, `true nazarite` and the original `three in one` (which he later did for wsp) this only exists on a dubplate now... he was a good and talented guy... we`ll keep his memory and works burnin bright.

Also I think I'll speak for Mimouille but thanks for keeping the volume low as requested, that prevent from more troubles from the policeman, this way we had a session until 3am.
That's a big issue as the venue is currently the last one where sound system were able to play IN Lyon so it's just a bad news that sounds seems to be the dead here...

Anyway, as you pointed out, no need to have crazy bass levels to have a amazing night (well, it helps still !).
