TIME TO SHINE PRESS RELEASE Thursday September 22nd.

TIME TO SHINE clash is a global clash tournament where promoters world wide get together to further advance the clash industry and promote sounds. The main promoters for this event are the JUDGEMENT SOUND KILLERS. Back in 2009 they approached a small group of promoters all from different countries for help by asking them to invest their own time, money and reputations into this tournament. Each area promoter would have to put on a clash in their own city and the winners will advance to the next level. The main promoters, JUDGEMENT SOUND KILLERS assured us that they be splitting the clash cost and profits 50/50 with the area promoter, however, all the work had to be done by the area promoter. From finding sounds and organizing the clash, to promoting it on the streets. Each area promoter put their reputations on the line to help JUDGEMENT SOUND KILLERS to complete this global tournament.

Sadly, through out the last 9 months of planning, preparation and promotion a few clashes have been cancelled and a few promoters have back out.
The promoters in this event who have successfully done their Quarter Final clashes are: SMOKA GUNS-E-NUM (Germany) , TEK9 PROMO (USA), SOUNDCLASH.COM (Canada) and GOLDEN BASS (Italy). Using their own money and reputation to put together clashes that were not their own. Dealing with rules and formats they many not have agreed with they did it for the love of SOUND CLASH and their area sounds.

This Saturday September 23rd is the first SEMI FINAL clash in Amsterdam, sadly, within the last 24hours the area promoters were notified that the main promoters JUDGEMENT SOUND KILLERS are not able to financially be involved.
With very little time and resource to fix this problem the area promoters will have to cut costs and corners to hopefully fix this situation. We are still not sure if there is enough money or time. We ask for your patience and understanding of this unfortunate turn of events.

Understanding that this new development has impacted all sounds and area promoters involved, please note that the area promoters will try to complete the remainder of this tournament to the best of their ability but cannot guarantee anything at this point in time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

- LOL j'aime bien le principe de la disquette : les promoteurs locaux font ça pour l'amour des clashs

Donc ouai après ce communiqué qui à été publié juste après que Sultan ai annoncé que le promoteur (ou la salle) ne le payerais pas pour faute de budget, et vu qu'il ne veut pas le faire pour l'amour du clash (réponse de l’intéressé : "Je ne suis pas l'armée du salut")

Donc bon, si on fait le bilan de ce "tournoi", la communication est proche de zéro (faire le mort lorsqu'on pose des questions sur les events à venir, et que bizarrement la personne vous supprime votre post et vient vous parler en lousdé par MP), des salles et des dates annoncées mais pas confirmées, des events annulées.....

Bref le concept était beau sur le papier...we will see

C'et vrai que pas payer un host local qui sert que a boire des vodka-coca pendant les rounds c'est pas cool...
Il aurait pu au moins le faire pour l'amour de boire un coup sur scène

un bus de supporter pour warrior sound et la famille de foundation dans la place.

Kaya sound a ramené Konshens sur scene au 2eme round
Foundation a ramené Lady G.

Kaya sound sort en premier. Baston sur scene. un soundman a frappé le MC de kaya qui est en fauteuil roulant!

Foundation qui a du jouer au moins une quinzaine de Shabba dans la soirée...

C'est bon ça papa!!! ça ça donne des regrets, un clash avec quelque chose qui se passe... alors que tout laissait présager que ça allait etre tout pourri....
