It is open warfare between Virgin and Beenie Man who is still under a five album deal with the compagny. Based on inside sources, the Jamaican website Yardflex relates that the breaking up is a consequence of last year's controversy about homophobic lyrics, in which Virgin has expressed apologies. In a recent interview, the Grammy Kid states that he would join Epic Records as soon as his deal with Virgin is over. His fourth album on the label is planned for June and most of its 18 tracks are produced by Don Corleon.
