"Ainsi soit-il", Tairo's new album, will be released on 8 July on Polydor (Universal).
After his first album, "Chœurs et âme", released in 2009, and the street tapes volumes 2 and 3, the singer unveils his new opus, from which we have already heard the single Love Love Love, as well as Ainsi soit-il, which gives the album its title.
Packed with effective melodies, "Ainsi soit-il" is produced by the duo T'NT. Taïro is at the top of his form here, perfectly at ease on reggae riddims by T'NT or Bost & Bim, or on two dancehall riddims by the Jamaican Tarik "Russian" Johnston (Head Concussion Records).
Notable features include Youssoupha (Aime la vie), Merlot (ex-Baobab, Mélodie) and Kalash (La roue tourne).
Look out for it on 8 July in the shops and on download platforms.
The remix of his hit Bonne weed, with Kalash, Kenyon, Nemir and 3010, will be available as a single on 28 June: "A reggae hip hop blend that works very well. I'm very happy with it" Taïro told us (our interview coming soon on the site).
The remix will also appear as a bonus track on the digital version.
Tairo will perform this summer at the Reggae Sun Ska festival, and will also take the stage at the Olympia (Paris) on 23 November 2013.
