The two singjays of the female duo Brick & Lace announce the signing of a five-album deal with Geffen Records, an Universal subsidiary. Blending dancehall with r'n'b, it is hardly a surprise to find them alongside the giant Geffen Records, a label already well established in the US market (Shaggy, Mary J Blige, The Roots, to name but a few).
A trio turned duo, Brick & Lace's career began while the three sisters were still studying. After becoming backing singers for Beres Hammond and Diana King, the group eventually refocused on Nyanda Thorbourne and Nyla.
The album should include tracks produced by Tony "CD" Kelly and Troyton Rami, of Black Shadow Records.
