Marley Heritage Festival Special
On 11 May we commemorated the passing of a legend. Bob Marley left an indelible mark on the hearts of reggae fans around the world. The international scene paid him the tribute he deserves with this first MARLEY HERITAGE FESTIVAL, staged, not without difficulty, at the Enghien racecourse.
Barely three days before the event, the mayor of Soisy-sous-Montmorency decided, for some obscure reason, to issue a municipal order BANNING it. Stunned, the organisers entered into a real tug-of-war with this ill-mannered council. Their appeal finally succeeded on the eve of the festival, suspending this utterly absurd order.

After these few setbacks, it was time for music and the good vibes that finally took over the racecourse. Unfortunately hit by these persistent rumours, the festival received far too few visitors but went ahead in a good mood all round. Enough to promise a quality edition next time.
Camera in hand, we went to meet the artists, bringing back a series of interviews along with video reports and all sorts of sound clips.
