Preceded by the EP "Paname Yard" last year, Jahill is releasing his new album, "Paname Skank". Just out, "Paname Skank" picks up where "Une époque formidable" left off six years ago: Jahill delivers his vision of the contemporary world.

"Paname Skank" includes the six tracks of "Paname Yard", starting with Si j'étais président, but also Sankara, devoted to the Burkinabé revolutionary, and Paname: Jahill, the suburbanite, puts the world to rights, armed with his dreams and his pen. Funny, offensive and empathetic, cynical without being disillusioned, his music draws as much on French chanson, rightly represented here by a cover of Claude Nougaro's Bidonville.
Still produced with his accomplices Don Dada and Serial P (Dubwise Factory), "Paname Skank" also features the musicians of the Homegrown Band, Bost & Bim, Yovo M'Boueke, Jason Wilson and Courtney "Bubblaz" Edwards, while Gappy Ranks (Un Monde Sans Couleur) and Queen Omega (International Love) join Jahill on the mic.
