Sean Paul looks well on course to surpass the sales of his previous album with his new one, "The Trinity". Released in 2003, "Dutty Rock" had won over the wider international public with 6 million units sold, and had won a Grammy.

Those benchmarks have been comfortably beaten, as no fewer than 107,000 copies were sold in the first week (65,000 for "Dutty Rock"), placing the album at number seven on the Billboard chart (all genres combined). Enough to make people forget Damian Marley's performance with his hit Welcome to Jamrock (86,000 copies).
