Hi Guys,

I am Aldo, an Italian boy who for reasons of study will be two weeks in Paris. I am a lover of good reggae, ragga, dub, bash, dancehall vinyl and I love to dance the night until late. Would you have a few addresses, shops or nightclubs, to advise me? Some Sound System that advise me to listen?

Thanking you in advance

Bless

hi Aldo

there are only 2 main shops in Paris dedicated to Reggae Music

- PATATE RECORDS
57 rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris
M°: Ledru-Rollin / Charonne / Bastille - Open from Tuesday to Saturday 13H / 19H

- DUBWIZE
60 rue Hermel, 75018 Paris
M°: Simplon / Jules Joffrin - Open from Monday to Saturday 13H / 19H

for your information regarding the parties in Paris there's a few places dedicated to Reggae Music :-|
the most popular one is probably a boat called L'ALTERNAT
Quai de Bercy (Rive droite), 75012 Paris
M°: Quai de la Gare / Bercy
there are some sound systems every Saturdays on this boat

Bless Up

Thank you for the information. Potatoes records is also a record label right? I think I know this name for a production that they did with Sizzla. I'm really happy to have two large stores where I can find some chune special!

I should land in Paris Sunday, February 21 and I should return home Sunday, March 7th. Do you know if in this period there will be great events reggae, something like a clash or a large meeting of Sound System? For sure I will ride on this boat "OneDrop"! Thank you for the information!

Forgive one last question. Police. How they behave with us?

French Policemen are worse than Italian ones.
Even customs officers from Milano airport are kind people compared to the French policemen !!!
