Rita Marley continues to make headlines with revelations about Bob Marley. In her recent book, “No Woman No Cry”, she admits to having been sexually abused by Bob, going so far as to use the word «rape».
Apparently, Bob forced Rita to have sex with him while they were already together. Although Bob’s granddaughter, Donisha Prendergast, supports her grandmother and says that this story has only brought the family closer together, Rita has been severely criticised by the original members of the Wailers and by Bunny Wailer himself, who accuse her of doing serious damage to the now sacred name of Bob Marley.
