Simpleton dies
on Monday, November 08th 2004 - 57 833 views
Simpleton, known notably for his hits Quarter To Twelve and Coca Cola Bottle Shape, died last night. After a dinner, the singer collapsed and began to choke. Rushed to hospital, he died a few minutes before arriving.
An artist who released both cultural and dancehall tracks, Simpleton made his name in the late 80s, but it was only in 1996 that his first album, "Quarter To Twelve", mainly produced by Anthony Redrose, could be released. Recently, Simpleton had distinguished himself on several singles, including the Heart 2 Heart in 2000 and the MP4 this year.
