Lucky souls who plan to spend the festive season in Jamaica will have the chance to catch some particularly impressive shows. Besides Sting, with its endless line-up, taking place on 26 December in Portmore (see news of 17/12/2005), another major event will be held the day before.
A host of young new-roots artists will take the stage at the Unity Bash on 25 December at Viking Lawns Stepney, near Nine Miles: Jah Mason, Perfect, Pinchers, Mickeylous (formerly Niggah Mickey), Chezidek, Lutan Fyah, Josie Mel, and plenty more… A fine way to see out the year in good company.
