As we announced in January (See news of 14 January 2008), Ja'Sound 2008 will take place in Bidon, in the Ardèche, from Wednesday 6 to Saturday 9 August inclusive. In their statement, the organisers said they were keeping themed nights with a line-up leaning towards roots and African sounds. Promise kept, with a night devoted to African artists that will close with a performance by the veteran Alpha Blondy. An African village will also be recreated on the site for the occasion. Not to be missed either: Etana, Tarrus Riley and Queen Ifrica for the new guard. Another highlight is the arrival of the Jamaican sound Killamanjaro, who will be joined by a few figures of the 80s, the deejays Flourgon, Charlie Chaplin, Josey Wales and Brigadier Jerry.
