Created at the start of the year by the members of the Alsatian group Spirit Revolution, the One Drop label has put out two riddims (Spirit revolution and Straight up), brought together here on the CD "Jamaican Warriors". Marked by a desire to play the riddims by hand, without programming, One Drop Music's approach takes concrete form with this first release, announced for 18 June.
It features a mix of French and Jamaican artists: Lutan Fyah, Omar Perry, and Jah Mason twice, who introduced them to Shakamello and Fyah Key, two young artists. On the French side, besides the members of Spirit Revolution, Fyah Max and G'Moses, One Drop has also made room for artists from their region such as Skunkhead, Sir Hill and Radikal.
