Former leader of the group LMS, Laza Morgan has placed his single Crank it up on the soundtrack of EA Sports' upcoming video game NBA Live 10.
It is the first time a reggae artist has appeared in the basketball game series, renowned for the quality of its soundtrack.
Solo for a few years now and managed by Gramps Morgan's label, Dada Son Entertainment, Laza is currently preparing his first album. Expected for late 2009, the opus titled "Words of a poor man" should blend reggae and hip-hop, with productions by Mojo Morgan, Shane Brown and Salaam Remi (who has notably produced for Nas, Amy Winehouse and the Fugees).
