The Hamburg label and sound system, which will now release its projects under the name Silly Walks Discotheque, has just made a new riddim, called Aspire.
Among the 13 tracks on this subtly digitalised reggae riddim are Luciano, Gentleman, Louie Culture, Lady G and Lutan Fyah, among others. Worth noting is the very first reggae performance by Nkulee Dube, none other than the daughter of the late Lucky Dube, the South African singer.
The riddim will be available for legal download from mid-August and will also come out on 45rpm vinyl at the end of the month.
