Patrice back in the shops
on Monday, June 21st 2010 - 6 500 views
Patrice is joining the French label Because Music. A chance for the German singer to release a 7th album that rounds off ten years of career. The album, titled "One", is due on 13 September.
The first single from the album, Ain't got no/I got life, an adaptation of the Nina Simone song, will be put to images by the French artist J.R. The collaboration doesn't stop there, since J.R. is also behind the sleeve of "One" and Patrice made the soundtrack for the film "Woman are heroes", presented this year at Cannes by the photographer.
Patrice will be touring all over France this autumn. In the meantime, he will play a free concert tonight at around 9pm as part of "Africa Pop", organised by Fnac at the Château de Vincennes.
