Buju Banton's ninth studio album is due on 28 September, while the singer is still in prison in Florida.
Titled "Before the dawn", this 10-track opus was recorded before Buju Banton's imprisonment, for the most part at the Gargamel Music studio in Kingston.
The date of Buju's trial is expected to be announced this month (see news of 01/06/10). Gargamel will therefore have to wait until September or October to learn his fate.
