Incarcerated since March 2009, Ninjaman appeared in court yesterday seeking release on bail. The request was refused by the court because of written threats made to witnesses in the case.
Accused of murder, the eccentric deejay will therefore remain in prison awaiting his trial on 14 January 2011. He is being held with his 20-year-old son and two other men, all charged with murder with premeditation and illegal possession of a firearm in connection with the death of a 20-year-old man in March 2009.
