Accused of fleeing the United States ten years ago to avoid trial, Busy Signal has pleaded not guilty before the Minnesota court.
Facing five years in prison on this charge, he has been kept in custody pending his trial.
Arrested on 21 May on his return from a European tour (news of 22/05/2012), the deejay was extradited to Minnesota (United States). The arrest warrant makes no mention of the 2002 drug charges (news of 05/06/2012).
