As part of their European tour, the Jamaican Legends quartet will play in France next week.

Made up of the unmissable duo Sly Dunbar (drums) - Robbie Shakespeare (bass), the guitarist Ernest Ranglin and the pianist Robbie Lyn, the dream quartet will first appear on Tuesday 27 November on the stage of La Bellevilloise in Paris, before playing Boulogne-sur-Mer (on the 28th) and Châteauvallon (on the 30th).
The simultaneous presence of the four renowned musicians promises a superb concert. Music lovers will be able to enjoy covers of great classics, during a night tinged with reggae, jazz, rocksteady and ska.
The Jamaican Legends quartet already performed in Japan in late 2011, then at the Garance Reggae Festival this summer, with Tyrone Downie (former pianist of Bob Marley & the Wailers) replacing Monty Alexander on keyboards, who was absent for medical reasons.
It is the pianist Robbie Lyn, a former member of the Sound Dimension (Studio One's backing band) and of the Word, Sound and Power (Peter Tosh's), and present on stage at the famous One Love Peace Concert of 22 April 1978, who will accompany Sly & Robbie and Ernest Ranglin on this new tour.
