Breadwinners, first album remixed
on Monday, December 03rd 2012 - 4 128 views
The label King Spinna Records, run by Bob Harding and Dom Sotgiu, two Blood & Fire alumni (news of 19/09/2011), announces the release of "Dubs Unlimited", the Breadwinners album.
The Breadwinners are in fact mainly the work of producer, musician and all-round engineer Alan Redfern, whose Bakery studio is based in Stockport (south of Manchester), and who is joined on this album by several musicians (including Stally, KT Lowry...).
"Dubs Unlimited" is a completely remixed reissue of the first album, released on King Spinna in 2011. The album notably features added horns, flute and harmonica, and was mastered by Kevin Metcalfe at The Soundmasters studio in London.
It will be available on 12 December on LP, CD and MP3.
Note that, unlike the LP version, the CD and MP3 versions of "Dubs Unlimited" contain a bonus track entitled Joy (Discomix), on which Big Youth guests.
Dubs Unlimited is already available to pre-order on LP (€18.50) and CD (€9.80) on the King Spinna website.
