Keen to "pass on a legacy", Ninjaman is about to launch his own show, "The Ninjaman Star Search", to discover new young dancehall talents from the 14 parishes that make up Jamaica. Besides a handsome cheque, the winner of the show will be offered the chance to record in a studio.

"I won't be the number one deejay forever, so I'm making sure I pass on to the new generation what I have developed", the Don Gorgon confides in the pages of the Jamaica Star. "I just want to pass on everything I've learned to the next generation, so that there are more artists able to entertain people."
With auditions starting in the second week of January, the competition will officially begin in February in Ocho Rios, on the north of the island. Naturally in the form of a clash, an exercise in which Ninjaman will once again try to shine on 26 December in Portmore, at Sting 2012 (news of 30/11/2012).
"What I want to see are 'performers' who can satisfy the crowd, and not just 'talk talk' on stage, because a show is much more than that. A deejay's hits are temporary, but an entertainer's last a lifetime", adds Ninjaman.
Currently busy recruiting the future judges of his show (Josey Wales, Ghost, Skatta Burrel and Jack Scorpio are already being mentioned…), the veteran deejay mentions a partnership with Bounty Killer and Downsound Records to help him see this project through.
