This weekend in Paris, La Gaîté Lyrique will host a genuine event for UK dub fans with the visit of the legendary Unity sound system.

A former selecta for Fatman Hi Fi, Robert "Ribs" Fearon set up his own sound in July 1982. Facing his old mentor, he had an ace up his sleeve: his friendship with Prince Jammy gave him access to exclusive dubplates and let him rule the 1980s in London.
Also a producer, Ribs brought several singers to prominence (Kenny Knots, Selah Collins, Errol Bellot…) and had numerous hits: Pick A Sound, Watch How The People Dancing, We Try, Ride The Rhythm… Needless to say, his first dance in France is not to be missed!

At his side will be Blackboard Jungle, who had already lent their gigantic sound system to Jah Observer for the Fête de la Musique, while Mark Ainley, boss of the Honest Jon's label, will also be in the line-up.
An important detail: the price is all the more attractive in that for every ticket bought (16€), one is given free!
