Toots & The Maytals: new $20 million lawsuit

Frederick "Toots" Hibbert, leader of the group Toots & The Maytals, has filed a new lawsuit after being injured at a concert in May.
Having sought 21 million dollars from William Connor Lewis, 19, accused of throwing a bottle in his face (the trial will take place in December), the singer is also claiming 20 million dollars from several companies for negligence. The targets are Venture Richmond and Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers Inc, organisers of the event, Regional Marketing Concepts Inc, responsible for security, and Strawberry Street Event and Concessions, which sold the drinks inside the festival.
During a concert at the Dominion Riverrock festival, on 18 May in Richmond (Virginia, United States), in Brown's Island park, William Connor Lewis had hurled a glass bottle at the singer. Seriously injured, Toots Hibbert had been forced to cancel the rest of his tour straight afterwards.
The complaint also states that the singer, now fearful, "can no longer perform on stage, no longer remembers the lyrics to his songs, and can no longer write, record or produce music".
