The hip-hop duo Smif-n-Wessun is about to release a reggae EP titled "Born and Raised", planned for December.
Coming from the Brooklyn collective Boot Camp Clik, the duo, of Jamaican descent, has never hidden its taste for reggae and dancehall. Jamaican patois rang out on their first album "Dah Shinin", which was full of references and nods to the island's music scene (like the hit Sound Bwoy Bureill).
Tek and Steele have therefore decided to take the plunge: the EP "Born and Raised" is made up of six reggae / hip-hop tracks, produced by K-Salaam and Beatnick.
It will feature combinations with Junior Kelly, Junior Reid and Jahdan Blakkamoore, the singer of Noble Society.

"Born and Raised" will be released digitally on 3 December 2013. A physical deluxe edition will also be available on Duck Down Shop.
