Bost & Bim: ladies first
on Monday, November 03rd 2014 - 13 595 views
While waiting to hear them on the next albums from Morgan Heritage or Pierpoljak, Bost & Bim present their new project: "Ladies First". An EP that, as its name indicates, is entirely devoted to the female sex. "Ladies First" is the first EP in a series called Special Blend. Tailor-made for the duo, who have made their name with this blending of genres.
Ladies first, then, as they open the series. Six singers recruited from the four corners of the world: Bost & Bim reunite with American singer Brisa Roché, with whom they had already struck a big blow in 2009 with Jamaican Boy (a cover of Estelle and Kanye West's hit, American boy). The jazz diva Rosey is also invited, as is her compatriot Mozella. Swedish singer Ellen Birath, Mariama and finally Jaqee (whose album "Kokoo Girl", made with producer Teka, was reissued by Makasound) complete the diverse panorama these female voices make up.
Alongside the 6 vocal tracks come three dubs, and two remixes including a dubstep remix by LeftLane (Animalsons).
« Ladies First » will be available from 17 November. Discover it with the first single, the melancholy Monsters to Stars by Ellen Birath.
