Paris Dub Club #1 with Jah Shaka

This Friday 26 November will see the first edition of the "Paris Dub Club" nights at the Cabaret Sauvage.

The night will begin with the Blackboard Jungle Sound System (Rouen) which, with its custom-built gear and the quality of its selections, is building a solid reputation. The dubman Kanka regularly joins Blackboard and will be there for the occasion. Nucleus Roots, a sound system from Manchester, has been going for almost 10 years. With its varied line-up blending electro stepper and roots, it has established itself as the renewal of the UK sound system scene. Accompanied by three singers including Ossie Gad of the Natural Ites, their performance has every chance of making a lasting impression. For this first edition, the organisers have pulled out all the stops and are giving us the illustrious Jah Shaka, figurehead of the UK sound system scene. Known notably for using only one turntable, Jah Shaka has developed a raw style and one of his performances is always an event. This first edition of the "Paris dub club" starts at 10pm and promises a pure night of simply top-quality sound system. An event not to be missed.
