Capleton and Mediacom have won their case against the City of Reims and the REMCA (to which the municipality entrusts the management of La Cartonnerie) over the cancellation of the deejay's 18 June concert. The Tribunal de Grande Instance in Reims yesterday (Tuesday 19 July) ordered the municipality to pay 8,000 euros in damages to Mediacom, Capleton's European booking agency, for wrongful breach of contract. Mediacom had claimed 40,000 euros.

Reached by phone, its director Michel Jovanovic told us he was looking at the possibility of pursuing legal action in the other cities that cancelled Capleton's concerts.
