The Guadeloupe sound Arawak was crowned 2005 French Sound System Champion at the end of a night held in Paris, at La Loco, on Sunday 18 December.
Arawak, who had twice been stopped at the final in previous editions, won the final round against Calaloo, Ruff Lion and Junior Sound. A sixth edition unfortunately marred by a fight between Arawak and Junior Sound.
