The film "One Love", directed in 2004 by Rick Elgood and Don Letts, is getting a DVD release in France. Released in cinemas in Britain and the Benelux in 2005 but unreleased in France, "One Love" is a Jamaican Romeo and Juliet, in which a young Rasta artist played by Ky-Mani Marley falls in love with the daughter of a Pentecostal pastor.
A sort of lighter "Harder they come" (screenwriter Trevor Rhone is behind both projects), in the form of a romantic comedy. Its soundtrack features a selection of well-worn tracks by Sean Paul, Morgan Heritage, Beres Hammond, Jah Mason & Jah Cure, Sizzla, Junior Kelly…
Release announced for 23 March, on Frak Vision.
