Good deal for Kariang and Anthony B
on Thursday, November 09th 2006 - 12 923 views
After Kings of Kings, Iley Dread's Canadian label, it is now the turn of the Jamaican label Kariang to be offered a deal with Urban Culcha, a promotion and management company backed by Sony/BMG.
Created in the second half of the 90s by Jah Mikes, a Jamaican of Asian origin based in Ocho Rios, the Kariang label has a solid catalogue of modern reggae, including emblematic singles by Sizzla, Jah Mason, Prezident Brown, Doniki and even Pierpoljak.
This new promise of international development should materialise with the release of Anthony B's new album, titled "Stronger than before".
