In the "Jamaican Weekly Top 30 singles", the ranking of the week's 30 best Jamaican singles compiled by Richie B, the top four is shaken up: Shaggy and his hilarious Church Heathen lose first place and fall to 4th, which benefits Gyptian, who takes the lead with My father say, while Macka Diamond gains a place (3rd, Hula hoop), as does Mavado (2nd, Last Night), the only one with four songs in the chart! Lutan Fyah, rather rare in the charts, jumps four places to grab 5th with Save The Juvenile.
Behind them, Daville's This Time I Promise is holding up well, staying in 6th position after 19 weeks in the chart, as is Nanko (11th with Loco Amor): the "doyen" of this chart with 28 weeks on the clock! Finally, note the entries of Vybz Kartel (27th, Wine Pon You) and Elephant Man (29th, Lef Dem To Time).
