The deejay Mavado, who placed numerous singles in the charts during 2006 (Weh dem a do on the Redbull & Guiness riddim, Want you in my life, Dreaming...), has just signed a 3-album deal with the label VP Records.
Julian Jones-Griffiths, his manager (also manager of the Aliance crew), announces for this summer the first instalment of this collaboration, "Gangster for life", which should come with a DVD delving into Mavado's "Gangsta World".
After the blossoming of Busy Signal alongside Greensleeves in 2006, it was a safe bet that Mavado would be next on the list; let's hope Aidonia follows the same path.
