The St Ann sound, winner of the 2006 edition, won the UK Cup Clash again on Saturday, beating Mighty Crown in the dub fi dub. The Japanese, winners of the Jamaican Clash "Death before dishonour", had indeed come back with a vengeance, no doubt keen to make up for their unfortunate withdrawal last year.
The competition still does not seem to suit New York sounds, though: like LP in 2006, King Addies, whose return was eagerly awaited, did not get past the second round, despite the presence of Baby Face.
