Last year, several gay rights associations, including An Nou Alle, opposed Admiral T's tour going ahead. To calm tempers, he agreed to repeat on the mic (read the report) a statement made via a press release a few days earlier, in which he explained that he was "opposed to homophobia and [had] always been", and believed "that hatred and violence towards homosexuals bring nothing good".

With Admiral T's concerts planned in Rouen and Toulouse in early November already cancelled, and the Marseille one under threat, his lawyer has decided to speak out. He targets in particular Tjenbe Red, an association created by the general secretary of An Nou Alle. The latter, again according to the lawyer, "seems dissatisfied with the messages the artist sends to his audience and to anyone interested in his songs". "This harassment has become unbearable and intolerable," he goes on, before urging that "everyone take responsibility for the commercial or civil damages that [his] client may be led to suffer".
