Jim Murple Memorial is gearing up for a busy 2008 as it celebrates ten years of activity. As well as finishing the construction of its own recording studio in their home town of Montreuil, the "Jamaican Rhythm'n'Blues" band is unveiling several projects. Starting with a new album, planned for September.
Before that, Jim Murple Memorial fans will be able to treat themselves to a collector's vinyl album, saluting the band's decade on record by compiling 11 tracks from their previous albums as well as two previously unreleased ones. This collector's LP will be available only at the three nights "Jim Murple Memorial font leur bal jamaïcain" at La Java (Paris) on 26 March, 2 and 9 April 2008, in the neighbourhood where they started out.
