Last year, the reunion of the Police sparked a gigantic world tour by the group, which injected reggae into Europe. Above all, it gave ideas to the label Shanachie, which is conveniently releasing a tribute to the Police. "Spirit in the material world : A reggae tribute to the Police" brings together Jamaican and American artists around the group's songs : Inner Circle, Toots & The Maytals, Gregory Isaacs, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Horace Andy, The Wailing Souls, Ali Campbell (UB40), Tarrus Riley and Junior Reid.
Due out on 25 February 2008.
