Garance is starting to reveal some of the names that will make up the line-up of its 2008 Reggae Festival; we already know that the stage of the Zénith de Paris will welcome the Neg’ Marrons and Tiken Jah Fakoly (whose 26 April concert is already sold out) on Friday 27 June. Then, on Saturday 28, it is the Black Seeds, Collie Buddz and Shaggy who will get the Parisian crowd dancing. Note that a sound system after-party will be held at the Cabaret Sauvage once the concerts are over, and this until dawn.
On top of that, Garance reports that, the first date of the New Zealand combo Fat Freddy’s Drop at the Elysée Montmartre on 23 April being sold out, a second is planned the following day in the same venue, and that the band will also be on stage at the Printemps de Bourges on 18 April.
Finally, the singer Nneka, who releases her second album, "No Longer At Ease", on 28 April on the labels Yo Mama’s Recording and Jive Records, will perform on that occasion at the Trabendo on 17 April, at the Ferme du Buisson on the 18th and at the Printemps de Bourges as well on the 19th, again under the baton of Garance Productions.
