Anthony B.'s management announces that the new album by the most popular of France's bobo dreads, titled "Life Over Death" and due this year, is ready and is only waiting for a distribution deal.
Part of the production is handled by the artist himself, via his label Bonfire Productions, and we already know that the album will feature four tracks produced by Cordel "Skatta" Burrell (including the first single Territory, a cover of Hopeton Lindo), a riddim builder who worked, among others, for the Kings of Kings label (Martial arts, Bad compagny, Coolie dance, Dancehall rock…). Anthony B. has also called on Daseca and Mario "C" Campbell, to whom we owe the very dancehall single Tease her released last year.
This bit of information already points to a much more dancehall tone, very much in vogue at the moment, which should catch the attention in 2008. And to go with it, Anthony B.'s team is not ruling out a deal with an American label. Well, well.
