It was with rap that he burst onto the public's radar (Ma Benz with NTM in 1998) and it is as a rapper that Lord Kossity returns to us this year. Dancehall is out: after "Danger Zone" in 2006, here comes a strictly hip hop album, right down to his flow. Chico will be the only dancehall guest on the album. For the rest, Kossity follows a hip hop / R&B line, inviting Django Jack and Zoxea. Produced by Mek it Happen, the project, titled "Koss", will be distributed by Wagram. Released on 9 June, ahead of a best-of due from ULM at the end of the year.
Separately, Lord Kossity will release a single this summer with
Hot 2 nite, featuring Elephant Man and Mr Vegas.
