"Odyssée Jamaïque, une histoire de la musique jamaïcaine" ("Jamaican Odyssey, a history of Jamaican music"), an interactive, multidisciplinary show (video, music, theatre), will celebrate its 100th performance on 19 June at the L'Imprévu cultural centre in Saint-Ouen l'Aumône (95).
The project, initiated by the groups Orange Street, K2R Riddim and Little Ced, tackles the history of Jamaican music, from ska to ragga, and has toured some 60 venues, attracting more than 40,000 spectators.
And to celebrate this 100th in style, guests will be invited and an exhibition set up in the cultural centre's foyer will illustrate 60 years of Jamaican music.
