It is not a stage name: Irie Love really is the real name of this young Hawaiian woman, christened by her Jamaican father in tribute to Third World and their song Irie Ites. Taken under the wing of Morgan Heritage (she is Gramps Morgan's partner in real life), Irie Love is releasing a new EP, "Ehiku", on the great family's own label, Gedion Music.

Led by the single It was me, produced by Stephen McGregor, "Ehiku" comes out in October, but is above all the prelude to a first album due in 2009, "The life of Love". Until then she will be opening for the group at each of its concerts.
