Up against the Germans of City Lock and the Swedes of Trinity at the Spanish Clash held in Valencia on Saturday 13 September, the French sound Guiding Star, already winner of the 2007 edition, won once again.
Guiding Star, who played second, and Trinity led the race through the three dubplate rounds, before facing each other head to head in the dub fi dub, won six to three by the French.
Well armed, the three sounds waged a war of international calibre, as shown by the artists played in dubplates: Mavado, Busy Signal, Serani, Jah Cure, Sizzla and even Konshens.
It is only a postponement for the Stockholm sound Trinity, however, who are competing in the Riddim Clash next month.
