So caught up in their clash, Mavado and Vybz Kartel forgot about the law. The Jamaica Star reports that the two artists are facing prosecution for using insults and "threatening words" on the Sting stage on 26 December.
Police inspector Carl Malcom told the Jamaica Star that, armed with video recordings of the event, the authorities were working on charging the artists who were guilty of words that fall foul of the law. The procedure is under way, but it is not yet known when it will be concluded.
