Opened in April, the Creole season at the Parc de La Villette will give pride of place to Jamaican reggae as part of the Mizik Factory project, on 5 and 6 June.
On the occasion of the Garance Reggae Festival, a partner in the programming (news of 18/03/09), Mizik Factory is offering a discussion "around reggae" on Saturday 6 June from 3pm to 5pm at the Grande Halle.
Hosted by Benoît Georges, journalist for Reggaefrance, this symposium will bring together Jérôme Laperrousaz, director of Made in Jamaica, Jérémie Kroubo Dagnini (who published Les origines du reggae, retour aux sources in 2008) and several artists, including Don Carlos and Ken Boothe.
Free admission.
