While the French will celebrate their Fête de la Musique on 21 June, the people of Brooklyn will not be outdone: on the same date the Brooklyn Music Festival will take place, a huge event representing the borough's different musical cultures (hip-hop, R&B, calypso, soca and of course reggae).

For its second edition, the former Jammins Music Festival offers a rock-solid Jamaican line-up with, among others, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Mavado, Elephant Man, Capleton, Tarrus Riley, Marcia Griffiths and Serani.
Good news: spectators will only have to pay 45 dollars for the whole festival!
