Family is at the heart of Ziggy Marley's latest project. This week, Bob's eldest son releases "Family time", an album for children that mixes covers, adaptations of nursery rhymes and original compositions.

Many guests, singers and musicians from very different backgrounds, cross paths over the 11 songs released by Tuff Gong: Paul Simon, the country singer Willy Nelson, the surfer Jack Johnson and also Rita and Cedella Marley. Two nursery rhymes read by the actress Jamie Lee Curtis also feature on the tracklist.
The result is admittedly cross-over and a little sanitised, but the aim seems to be achieved: introducing the youngest listeners to modern reggae.
Even more ambitious, Ziggy plans to release in June an album of reorchestrated Bob Marley songs, again with the aim of introducing this music to a young audience.
